Need to select a new rear gear ratio for the new combo. Engine is a aluminum 572 with twin alky terminators that will also be periodically hit with a 300 hp shot as needed. Glide with 1.80 low. 4-link, strut car around 2750 lbs with driver. 31 X 13 bias slick. 9" converter built for the alky combo. I still have my old 4.57 gears, but thinking this might want 4.29 or 4.11 gear.

I loved my 4.30 gear in my Daytona with the 572 but I had a 16-32 slick. I am going with a 3.89 rear gear and a 1.69 low gear with my nitrous combo and a 275 (28 inch) tire.

Would've thought any 572 would be on 800hp? + 300hp = 1100+....2750lbs with 31"tyre and a 3.91 pro gear would put you at >

Wallace says......
60 Foot E.T. : 1.10
1/8 Mile E.T. : 4.99
1/8 Mile Trap Speed : 136.26
1/4 Mile E.T. : 7.91
1/4 Mile Trap Speed : 169
1/4 Mile Trap RPM : 7,189+slip

with 4.10>

60 Foot E.T. : 1.10
1/8 Mile E.T. : 4.99
1/8 Mile Trap Speed : 136.26
1/4 Mile E.T. : 7.91
1/4 Mile Trap Speed : 169
1/4 Mile Trap RPM : 7,538
how high do you wanna rev that motor?

N/A at say 850hp with 3.91's>
60 Foot E.T. : 1.20
1/8 Mile E.T. : 5.44
1/8 Mile Trap Speed : 125.04
1/4 Mile E.T. : 8.61
1/4 Mile Trap Speed : 156
1/4 Mile Trap RPM : 6,597

No doubt you will probably exceed my lowly hp estimates?.....
so your looking at some serious trap rpm there with 31's.
