I have a 1992 D250. The interior side drivers door handle broke (the chrome handle with the single bolt that attaches it to the door latch mechanism). Not a big deal but makes opening the door a contortionist act which is getting really old.

Im hunting for a new handle, but am I limited to the 1991-1993 ram trucks for a donor? Or did dodge ram trucks from other years use the same?

I would say the 81-93 handles.

Im pretty sure anything from 66 to 93 A B C D bodies will work i have some 80s dodge van on my roadrunner some a bodes are different though .

I love chrysler they make it so easy sometimes.

One more question, will the 81-90 beds fit the 91-93?

Outside handles maybe, not the inside.

Have you checked the local parts store for a generic replacement? I know there are some handles in the Dorman HELP section.

yes Stumpy they dont carry one for my truck unfortunately

I have only seen two styles of handles the square one and the one thats angled and they all bolt on the same way you would be surprised how much stuff they use over the years that are the same . The only difference between beds is 2wd and 4 wd are different heights thats what i have been told i would measure it before trying.

and the exterior handles from '68-'70 B Bodies are the same, just need to swap a piece on the back.

81-90 frames have no "notch" in the frame and thus the bed has the brackets spot welded to them.

91-93 frames DO have the notch in them and thus the 91-93 beds do NOT have the brackets welded to them

To put a 81-90 bed on a 91-93 truck, you just cut the brackets off. 2wd and 4wd beds are the same thing. NO differences
