I have been thinking about this lately. When this thread first started I could not believe the number of new cars being built. Where are they? I am amazed how few actually show up and race..anywhere. When the NHRA gave out this class I thought a lot of people would step up and take advantage.
And yes it does cost a lot to go to a race and run the cars, but you cant tell me that you have the resources to build one of these and cant come up with the gas money

The thing that I've noticed is that a lot of these "new ah car guys" are still building the same "new cars" that they were supposedly debuting 3 or 4 years ago. Mike

We are traveling 1100 miles (one way) to go to a points race next weekend. Grade points aren't so easy to get out here on the west coast.

Yea those right coasters got it easy Of coarse they have to live there..so I guess that's punishment enough
