Does anyone know what shorty headers fit an M body? Or are they all pretty much universal? I'm running a 10:1 276/513 Voodoo cam 360 with factory manifolds and am currently dealing with a 2" pipe running from the manifolds to my 2 1/2" dual exhaust. I'd like to ditch them for a pair of shorties to run 2 1/2" the entire way. Long tube headers are out of the question since I'm using the fast ratio pitman and idler arms. I figure the shorties would flow enough, be able to connect to 2 1/2" pipe, and will still be high enough to work around the pitman/idler when routing the new 2 1/2" pipe.

Thanks for any help

Schumachers shortys are high quality and expensive. I dont know if they fit the M body- they are not listed for the M body.

Look up Sanderson and see if they have anything for the small block. Probably not that specific, application, but maybe close enough?

B-body long tubes fit these cars so any shorty for that app should work IMHO.

No torsion bars in the way helps.

If they show a list for F bodies it should fit the M as well, same chassis. Looking at Summit I only see long tubes listed for the F body. I imagine rear dumps like for a Magnu 360 might work, but I'd hesitate to buy a set for a test fit myself.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Are you sure your fast ratio arms won't clear long tube headers? I recall the headers that don't fit all being big block headers. I would call Firm Feel if it's their arms you have on the car.

All the shorty small block headers I've seen either hit the steering box or the firewall.

On a side note: you will eventually destroy long tube headers on that car if you're still running the factory torsion bars.
