Well ...depending where the good-air is on your car .. the cowl scoop might work the best. What is your engine combo and speed of the car?

440 w/ iron heads and 850 on alky right now. Switching to a Dominator, which is why I need more clearance. As it sits right now, it runs 6.74@102 in the 1/8. After the changes I'm hopefully going to be seeing somewhere in the 6.20 range.

A friend had a 64 post, strate fron axle, with a cowl hood and it looked pretty good.

Well it didn't take you long to act on the tip about the hood. Nice meeting you Greg and hanging out at the Cook Shack.

Butch,

Trying to get the budget together for the race year. The hood is taking too much space in the garage. Hope to see you guys soon.

Greg

So the intake/carb combo puts it through the hood ? .. how much ? .... A almost fail-safe hood and scoop combo is the 68 Hemi style.

I have to ask again ...do you know where the good-air is ? ... you can do that with a "powder-test" and then with a inches-of-water gauge.
