Plug the lifter bores and re-machine for 48*

The hurdle in making a camshaft with oil pump gear. Loose the gear and go external oil pump and front distributor solves problem. Order a spool and get your cam ground.

Leon,

I'll measure the block when it arrives. He didn't know. What does a guy have to do about a intake? I have w5's and a Indy intake. Can a guy mill enough off a standard deck Intake to make it work or what should a guy do?

Thanks

Almost .500" has to be cut between intake and head. Easier to use a w8 intake. Port match and slot bolt holes.

If you plug and change to 48° you will have to cut the heads and intake for pushrod clearance.

Personally, I would keep shopping and find parts that mate.
