Anyone ever notice there's a noticeable difference in the upper quarter area between the sedan and hardtop models? I've noticed it on my 64 dodge Polara 500 and a 330 sedan I had but now I'm replacing a quarter on a 63 plymouth Bevedere sedan. Bought an AMD quarter and realized Plymouths difference are the same. The hardtop cars have a more pronounced crease at top of quarter whereas the sedans have a rounded sloped top. See pics.

Now I have to decide whether to splice in quarter at top bodyline or just try to massage crease out to match original. Ideas?

Best bet is to cut the new quarter down a skin and do a but weld the length of it. The upper shape is quite different and the area along he trunk opening is actually wider on the 64-65 hardtop. The AMD panel you just bought is excellent but to fit a 63 it has to be cut down.
I installed an AMD quarter on a 64 Plymouth and the fit was almost perfect. That is a great panel

I'm thinking of doing a four door into a two door (65) sedan. Got a good pic of the top of the new panel? Since they're for hard tops.
