Hello, everyone. I wanted to know has anyone ever tried any after Market radios from Year One for the 1970 Plymouth B Body? And how did it fit? Did you have to modify your wiring harness to make it fit securely? Thank you. confused

Working on cars teaches you patience... and every curse word imaginable.

1970 Plymouth GTX -- A true gentleman's coupe, but a serious muscle machine.

I've never done anything with the Year One radios. My system is full aftermarket and did not use any of the original wiring. The original plug is intact behind the dash if someone were ever to want to change it back.
I made a new dash panel as to not ruin the factory pebble finished panel. twocents

All of the aftermarket radios we have encountered are overpriced junk in my opinion. ken harris, custom auto sound and retro come to mind.

if you're trying to maintain an original appearance you might try here - http://www.wardsclassiccarradiorepair.com/

bigmoneylewis on this board and he might have a modified orignal in stock or a core he can rebuild.
