bigsbigelow OP pro stock Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,564 St. Clair Shores, Michigan	So I have the straps and everything loose from the gas tank in my 73 Duster. The darn tank just wont fall though. It is caught up on the filler tube. Are there any tips or tricks you guys could share to help me get this tank out? The tank comes almost all the way out but the tube just wont slip out of the tank. Last edited by bigsbigelow; 01/21/09 07:06 PM. 69Cuda340S master Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 3,333 MARYLAND	Spray WD-40 where the filler tube goes into the tank. Let it sit a while and spray it some more. What I had to do is put a large pair of channel locks on the tube, then put a big screw driver between channel locks and tank, then carefully pry the tube out of the tank. I didn't need to dent the tube or tank, just a little persuasion to get the tube out.
