Alright how hard would it be to put a 440 in a 74 duster, im sure its not hard after you get the shumacher motor mounts, just is there any other mods you have to do? like if you wanna put headers on it would you have to cut out the fenderwell? just an idea i been kickin around. any help would be nice

I owned a 440 Duster once, years back.... never got it running as I met my wife & bought a house before the project ever came to life, but the motor was in there with an Aluminum motor-plate.

If I were to do a big block A-body, I think I'd choose a low-deck stroker.

I got a '70 Dart (engine compartment is the same as a Duster) and got a bigblock (low-deck) in it with Schumacher conversion mounts (mine is a /6-car from factory).

I got power steering and also got 2" TTI headers, fit is no problem, even not with the lakewood scattershield and 833 4-speed (light modification on scattershield as mentioned in TTI's instructions, I now got a 727tf tranny behind it and everything fit's perfect
