The other Larry Shepard's not to swift either.Every year at the Mopar Nats that guy would tell me that the composite hemi head gaskets that were already in the MP catalog, would be out in a couple of months. After waiting a year,I new this guy was full of beans.

Oh really, I always wondered about that. The one I am referring to has always had a swap spot at the Nats on the end of the aisle and has tons of Hemi parts for sale. He is much older looking than the one in the picture.

Never delt with him directly, but he drags the same stuff to the nats year after year. If it doesn't sell, raise the price and bring it back.

Yep, that's the guy. Have you guys been following the Hemi A-Body thread on the Question and Answer section. I think we need a new section on Hemi A-bodies in Moparts, these threads get LOOOOOONNGGGGG!

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

The new Hemi in a Barracuda convertible, that is a friend of mine from Texas. It would be a real shame if that conversion didn't end up in one of the magazines. If it was stick a lawn mower engine in a corvette it would be on the covers of everything. Not that I have anything against lawn mowers.

Just two more that get credit for something somebody else did. Jeff should have done the whole book at least you would have some good info.

After talking with a lot of Chrysler people and ex-Chrysler people, I have come to realize that living in Detroit - limits your knowledge about what the people want or need - sometimes I feel we are thought of as sheep -

The March 2006 issue of Mopar Muscle has the results of their Hemi Challenge for engine builders. Larry Sheppard of Akron OH. from "Hemis Only" was an entry. Is this the same guy you are talking about? In the results it says he was disqualified for using "parts outside of the rules". Also says he is a Top Fuel mechanic and clutch man.

Oh well, does anybody have anymore SS/AH information or has everybody gone to the new board with this stuff?

No posts in a couple days? I have a couple of pages of my personal Hemi photos up on my website. These pages are a work in progress, so check back once in a while! They are in the same order as the Moparts list in this thread, in case you have any trouble with I.D.'s.

Hemis - Page 1

Hemis - Page 2

Enjoy!!

What happened to this thread??? Not much going on on the new SS forum either.

I read someplace recently that Frank Lupo of Dynamic Converters is building a SS/AH car. I think it is a Cuda.
