What happens when you use a trans brake on a converter that's not set up for trans brake? Thanks

i dont know..but i have using a turbo action converter that was bought in 1982 with a trans brake from 1993 to 2007.

It is an old 3800 series that was made before trans brakes were made.

You could get a ballooning problem with a heavy vehicle, over 3,500 lbs.

Yes especially if the use the light Chevy case. (with all the dimples) SMR showed me the difference between my 4000 and a chevy style 4000 and the case is have the thickness no wonder they need fortifying plates
