Hello guys!

I have this old grind Lunati cam.

I called Lunati and they said they could not help me ID the cam as they didnt have any of their old paperwork since the company changed hands at least 4 times in the last few years and all of the old data got lost...

Anyway here is the cam I have:

I have this old lunati 426 hemi roller cam. Probably from the 70s or 80s.

I wanted to know what i have since the cam has no cam card in the box!

Maybe u have an old lunati catalog and you can help me determine what i got??

The end of the cam reads

426 hemi
S 950BC
106
RRH 296/294 BF

I called Lunati and they said they dont have any records for that cam as it is an old grind.

I am attaching some pics as well.

in the pic showing the gear end, are my old eyes seeing chunks nicked out of the od. , like from being dropped on the end? if so, you could blend them in ok, but maybe a mag to check for cracks and spin to check for straightness ? if i'm mistaken, sorry for bringing this up.

That's the plastic wrap.The S on the box and RRH-solid roller,hemi
106 centerline
296/294 duration
950130 is the cam core/grind S/N#
This appears to be a special order(not a shelf grind.
We have researched it and can find no other information.

no chunks, just pieces of plastic wrap.

Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.
