Im picking up my new purchase today. I have a question. I have always liked a mild lift and a roof rack on these jeeps. I used to have a very huge 4200 sq ft shop with a lift so working was easy. Now an unfinished 1200 sq ft shop no lift and kinda dark until finished.

How hard is it to lift these jeeps mildly? Whats needed and whats a good brand kit. This is a budget ride to give my two diesel 1 tons a rest. So with the $3250 purchase I cant afford a ton of high buck parts for it. Just a small lift for slightly bigger tires and with that said whats the biggest tires that will fit both stock and with a small lift.

any pics of your lifted rigs

Thanks RUMBLON

They are easy to lift. Go to Rusty's off road. Now a good lift is Rubicon, had here 5.5 short arm on a Cherokee.

30" on stock, 33" on most mild lifts. The XJ is very easy to lift, but the rear shackles will be a pain to remove. Make sure you get a lift that includes spings and shocks at the very least. No spacers or blocks.
