I need a different pivot for the LCA since the one on there is bent. Are the shafts different lengths between A body and B body?

Also, I plan heading the big Mopar junkyard near STL tomorrow and will be looking for tabbed LCAs and maybe even a sway bar setup. I'm familiar with the tab positions on the '72 and earlier LCAs.

What I need to know is how long is an A body LCA. I don't have mine at the house and won't get them before tomorrow. Clay says that he has some laying around and I don't want to grab the wrong ones. I know A body LCAs are longer than B or E.

Thanks

B body shafts are different. They have a "step" in them where the A body shafts are smooth.
A body LCAs are flat along the middle of the bottom edge. B body LCAs have a curve along the bottom edge.

Yes.

VL stamping are A body.

PD & RW stamping are B & E body.

A body on the left.
Early B Body in the middle.
B & E Body, on the right.

Well I figured as much, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I knew the A body LCA was longer but not about the "flat" spot. I'll look at my Cuda before we go.

Thanks

Did well today. Picked up a complete sway bar setup with the tabbed LCAs, VL stamped on them, and various other items that we needed.
