I believe this 18 spline transmission started as a late 60's Hemi box with later B/E body dual mount tail shaft added?

Case is from a 1970 Barracuda or Cuda.

Why couldn't it be from a Challenger?
Also, an 18 spline wouldn't be in a Barracuda.

Very interesting...I guess I now have two 4 speed transmissions from 1970 Cuda's.
Thanks for the info guys.

I bought this transmission many many years ago and it was attached to this 11" bell housing which I assume is for 1968?

The transmission has worked flawlessly for many years in my 440 powered street/strip 1973 Challenger and now will probably find it's way into my 1971 R/T Challenger.

Barry or anyone else if you can find the original car it came from it obviously would be for sale, otherwise I'll keep it.

Because it isn't.

If you assume it has never been apart before, but I try not to assume anything which is why I mentioned the case itself.

I added it to my database, so if the car shows up at some point I'll give you a shout for sure.

Thanks Barry.

Can you verify this 23 spline E-body transmission was also from a 1970 'Cuda.

I pulled it many years ago from what looked like an original 340 drivetrain in a 1970 'Cuda heading off to the junkyard.

Add it to your list but I doubt the car is still around today but you never know.....

That first one looks like it would be from a car with an SPD around November 15th 1969 , that last one, wow, that's a late one , off the top of my head I'd guess mid July 70,
but that's a pure guess .
