Does anyone know where I can purchase a copy of the factory assembly manual for a 70 Cuda?

Does someone have a large bundle of various engineering drawings? That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Where have the members found these drawings?

IMO all you need are both factory service manuals and the nut and bolt guide. You really need the nut and bolt guide, it is very nice and the new ones are even easier to use.

I used it almost everyday to assemble my car.

I have the fastener guide from MMC...awesome book with detailed information. I was really looking for the engineering schematics.

Who was the publisher in Ohio you mentioned?

I didn't think the engineering drawings were published as there might be some legal issues with Chrysler. If you ask for individual drawings a member will usually kick it out for you.

If someone does have a complete set I would love to have them too.

Are you looking for the Body/Service manual? Shows pictures of how all the panels fit, etc......

The factory plymouth service manual for 70 is a big one and has a bunch of useful info not only on body assembly but electrical,HVAC,etc...Here's the free download 70 plymouth service manual

What I was really looking for was the schematics that the engineers developed to detail how the car was assembled at the factory. If they don't exist in a bundle, then I'll just ask for individual drawings as needed.

A factory assembly manual did exist for each car and year. It was full of engineer drawings for how things went together on the assembly line. Chrysler kept them afterwards.

Copies of numerous pages have escaped and been copied again multiple times and shared on the internet occasionally. Year One used to sell packets of copies of them, separated by subject matter. I purchased copies of the E body stuff they offered, but when it arrived, most of the info was B body engine stuff. They can be hard to read, not the greatest copies. I think Barry had several of them available on his website for a while, but Chrysler sent him a cease and desist letter. At the time, Chrysler was cracking down on that sort of thing because they still had the originals and were working towards making nice clean complete copies available through Faxxon Auto Literature. It was very exciting, and I was eager to get my hands on the E body books as soon as they became available. Faxxon started with the earlier years and planned to release later years in chronological order as soon as they were ready. They came out with a few for mid 60's mopars that I wasn't particularly interested in, but then the economy crashed and Chrysler was eventually sold to Fiat. I'm pretty sure the project with Faxxon was cancelled.

I just looked at the Faxxon website, and it's all different now, so I can't find the few they had, if they're still available. I think it was a few cars from the 64-67 time frame, I'm not sure.

I purchased a couple of the '69 A & B body "manuals" that were officially released thru Faxxon (they only offered a-body engine & b-body chassis ). They were incomplete and referenced pages that were not available, they also were the same poor quality as the copies that have been floating around.

& at almost a dollar per page, IMO not money well spent.
