DusterKid OP top fuel Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,774 Keymar, MD	Are you guys using a shield or blanket for your A bodies with a BB and 727. I currently am using an RCI blanket, but I'm using TTI headers and its a really tight fit, was thinking of switching to a shield. Any recommendations for ease of fitting?

I ended up getting a blanket and taking it to an automotive upholstery shop and they shortened it. The top of the blanket covers the transmission, but the straps are not anywhere near the sides of the header tubes. There was someone that used to sell them this way, but I don't know who it was. Last time I tried calling that company they said they didn't make them anymore. 72 Dart 500" low deck Indy SR heads. 10.40 @129 best so far
