Need some help to understand if I'm doing something wrong.
Finally putting my 15" rallye wheels on 11.75" disc setup. I know it is a tight fit to begin with. The ends of the caliper pins are rubbing the inside of the rims. Whats up? I unscrewed them till they were flush with the outside of the caliper housing, now part of the caliper housing rubs the wheel. I think there is a little play in the housing when I unscrewed the pins, might be the problem.
I didn't want to cut the pins just yet. Wanted to see if anyone has had similar issues. Thanks,Mark

You using the proper length pins?
There are differences to them, throught the model years.
The first thing that comes to mind, is that you might be using pins from the "C" body line of cars.
They are longer, because the rotors are 1.250 inches thick, on the C bodys, needing longer pins.
I would be telling you, to check the length of the pins.
My 2 cents, to your question.

They are 5.32" long. I'm sure I got them when I got the Knuckles and brackets of the A-Body, many years ago. When I type in replacement pins at the parts store it shows that length. I will take a couple pictures tonight. They stick out past the rubber grommet in the caliper by 3/16". I made 2 spacer to put over the threaded section to see if that changes things. Anyone know which cars had the shortest pins?
Thanks to the feedback!

They stick out of the caliper that far means you are using longer "C" body pins.
B & E body cars use the pins, that you need.
