I`m restoring a superbird, what is the specific shade of black that is painted inside the nosecone?
I don't recall the noses being primed black on the inside. So called "factory prep" was very minimal. They were painted off the car. Grey primer/sealer with body overspray would be accepted. The only black paint I can think of is the paint around the outside edges of the headlight openings, which would create a little overspray inside.

with Doug,.......if the "black" your refering to,is on the support assys, such as the Z bars, latch tray, lite piviots, buckets, etc,.....then that black would be 30 percent gloss black
