I'm sure it's been done before but after seeing few cars in the WIW section with custome paint schemes from the 70s that survived I wanted to see more. Post pictures of cars that still exist or even some from back in the day for everyone to enjoy.

Aurora, Oh.
Well this may not be one of the better paint schemes or even good quality but it was painted back in 1969 as you see it here. I have had this car since 1971 and parked it in 1976. This pic is when I pulled it out of storage in 2008.

Upgraded everything except the paint and here it is in 2009.

And once again in 2010.

And once again n 2012.

Maybe one day I will repaint it but hard to do since it's been this way for so long.

So ------ repaint primer or not shruggy

Russ

Here's a neat cuda was for sale a while back. I saved the pics because there was a very well known 74 blk cuda with same color strobe stripe growing up in our town. By the early 80's the car was parked out front of a bar called the maple inn and it sat there deteriorating until around 92 it vanished. At first I thought this was the car but its not.

Too bad, maybe I should have said any pictures, I guess I really don't care if they have been changed they are just so cool to look at.

Hemiviper, that Challenger is/was awesome.

This one was built in teh early 80's, smashed up, and it disappeared until recently! Good to see it back on the road and unrestored! Like the style or not, it's a super cool local car I've been hunting for for decades!
