I am no expert with caltacs but what I would do if you want to see improvement is show the guys at caltrac the first pic you posted. look at the angle of the lower bar at the hit, it is up around 45* give or take. i can't see that as being good maybe I am wrong. has nothing to do with the way it handles imo. I think if you did fix the issue you may see an improvement in 60, maybe not
