…Thru the trunk floor on a 70 Bee. I have a new trunk floor and it has no holes in it. I can easily resort to putting it just about anywhere since this is a Resto-Mod, but I'd just as soon put it in the best place… Where the factory did. Pix will get you life long friendship.

Thanks, Lindy

i can't get you a pic but on my 69 RR the wire comes out of the rear lights harness and goes through the smallish grommet closest to the seat on top of the 'hump'. drivers side of course

click this link and enlarge the pic and you'll see what i mean

'70 Bee directly above the sender. I can't get you a pic I'm too far from the car. Wait till next weekend I've got original floors still.

Just me if I was to add one I'd drill the trunk floor as far forward as reasonably possible so as to keep any jostling of items in the trunk from ever severing/chafing/catching that blue wire over time. EDIT I'd want it over the hill/down further rather than just slung sideways on that forward flat "shelf" under the package tray like I've seen some & actually I'd think that'd put it closer to the sender
