It is not like it is agaist the law to make new build sheets or fender tags.
Actually there is, the Chrysler corp logo and other copyrighted markings are on broadcast sheets, duplicating them (for sale) without Chryslers consent/licensing is a crime.

BTW I just got a PM from Daryl confirming it isn't one of his...
But as a caution to those of you out there that think all fake broadcast sheets are that obvious have a look at this one...
True.....
While that one is pretty obvious, slso don't just assume that if it looks near perfect, it's a fake. I know of one sheet that looks so perfect, most folks would swear it was fake.

sorry Scott i was having an off day. To me the fender tags are just a datea tag and did not have the penta star logo so even though it is not moraly right it was not agaist the law like making a VIN Tag would be{for many reasons} And I was talking about the Build sheets from the point of taking Darrel on his word of his sheets not being reproduced! That in fact they are factory orginals that are blank he has {so only him and god knows if that true} So I was giving him the benifit that he is telling the truth about that. Plus............................................. One day I might make a hemi car out of cardboard, fibber glass and bondo and need a sheet

Every example shown here is easily recognized as a fake. The font (secondary print) is completely obvious and incorrect. The primary blue print is also a bad attempt at trying to recreate the original artwork. There are MANY small characteristics in the broadcast sheet (primary print) that make a fake easy to identify. It is those small details that will make one stand out like a sore thumb. If either one of these samples are from this guy in Arizona, I can 100% guarantee that his are NOT originals but ones that are trying to be passed off as the real thing.

Not all of the broadcast sheets are found in the rear seat backs. I agree "most" of them are because they are captured there but again not all.

There are better fakes out there, some aremuch better in fact. However, there's nothing out there that's undetecable if a knowledgable person studies it.
Scott, keyword "knowledgable" and that is about 2% of us, me included and the more that is pointed out what the fake telltales are the better the fakers get at making them............
