parksr5 super stock P Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 889 Oh	Yes there is. Take the mirror off and there is a plate that screws onto the base that attaches to the roof of the car. The plate goes over top of the ball of the stem of the mirror. When off, smack the plate a few times with a hammer and re-assemble everything. I had the same problems years ago and someone told me this. I went home and took a few minutes to do the above and I've had a nice and tight mirror ever since.
