Need some recommendations on a good small fuel filter. Going to use it between the fuel pump and vapor separator on a 440 6 pk.

Look at Magnafuel, Summit and other brands in line filter with both 10 micorn and 80 and up micron stainless steel screens in them upThe Fram and other look alike clones of them are a choke when it comes to flowing a lot of volume work shruggy

not sure i would bother. AFAIK, the separator also acts as a filter, although maybe not the best. i've never noticed crud in the bowls from years of just using the separator. seems with both you may indeed create a bottleneck?

I'd get a good 10 micron reuseable element one from a fuel company such as Russell etc. Just me I would want to make sure I've done all I could to keep minute debris out of the carb & later I can always check the psi at the carb inlet at WOT to see if there is a restriction (which that might end up being a pump or line capacity issue too) & I would check that before I added/changed a filter
