I say ask Don Garlits lol! Honestly the Eagle rods are probably the weak link in that combo. What are they good for? 700HP? A turbo app can with the right tune up make weak parts last in a lot of cases. Sorry no real answer, but if the rods were tossed for Carrillo's or equal, I would say 1000hp all day long.
Mopar to the bone!!!

You should be good to 20 psi of fun and be reliable.
I run a turbo, indy headed big block with efi and Bruno/Lenco. It's 1500HP

On your deal with a valueable stock block I would limit the boost to 10 to 12 lbs with a good intercooler on pump gas, that should make over 1000 HP As far as your EFI system make sure and get one with two or three bar MAP sensor I would want the computer to have a mainifold temperture sensor also to help control detonation, maybe even a knock sensor also As far as the cam don't get confused on that issue, the valve lay out in the hemi chambers are not condusive to wide lobe seperations, especially under boost I've built several roots blown Gen 11 pump gas street hemi motors, one(484C.I.) made 927 HP on CA pump swill at 7300 RPM with 7 lbs of boost, the other one (499 C.I.)made over 1300 HP at 7000 RPM on race gas and 20 lbs of boost The turbo are way better when it comes to making boost

My tuner has lots of experience with building these type of systems and tuning them and that's pretty much what he has said as far as maps and sensors go. He is just limited on experience in the Hemi world so just trying to gain as much knowledge about the actual engine limitations as possible, then we can gather the correct parts and go to town so to speak. What type of trans did you run with those combos? I'm thinking Bruno Lenco but also thought about a Liberty clutchless 5 speed. I want something I won't break and something I can drive on the street.

One of those motors, the bigger one, went in a car with a Mikes Transmission Monster Glide in it, the other one had a 5 speed Liberty, I think The smaller motor was never driven by the owner I built that motor for, he sold the car to a Chef in Palm Spring, CA. before finishing it It was in one of the Mopar magazine last year( Mopar Action, Feb. 2014) 1971 Orange Cuda, the motor information is all wrong in the article I didn't talk to the new owner so maybe he doesn't really know much about the motor Both cars where more for show than driving
