I think turbo would be easier on parts. Nitrous would be cheaper initially.

I'd go with nitrous. A turbo car is tougher to get races with, down here anyway. Most grudge racers get scared off by forced induction. When you're bracket racing, you can just run it on motor or put a small tune in it.
