I want to share a tip. I wanted to strip the old paint off my 64 Savoy, but didn't want to spend a thousand + dollars for it. So I bought a gallon of Citri strip at wally world. We painted the entire body, trim and all. Let it set overnight, and took a pressure washer to it. I am very happy with the results. All that is left is a little primer and some bondo. This stuff doesn't burn, stink,is water soluable, and biodegradeable.

What happens if the stripper gets into the seams of the doors etc? Is there a neutralizer for this product or will it stay active?

I used a high pressure power washer and went over everything several times. This stuff desolves away with water really fast. It also turns to kind of a powder when dry if you missed something. I haven't seen a downside yet, but I will keep you guys informed.

For the stripper used, water is the neutralizer. When strippers dry out, they leave a thin film that is hard to see and the paint will never stick for long. Green Scotch Brite with warm water and Dawn. Rinse thoroughly. Try to do it in the sun. It helps with flash drying and help preventing flash rust. THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP IN STRIPPING... is the scuff the surface with 40,60 80 grit paper. It allows the stripper to get under the surface of the paint. This is the reason why the paint starts coming off and bang it skips to another area. I use to chemically strip cars until the solvents became too expensive. I do fencers ,door and lids and soda or glass the rest
