i was wondering if anyone has swapped the disc brakes from a diplomat to 68- 70 b body? is this a safe swap? the caliper will be mounted on the front side and can this just be swapped to the other side? thanks for any help.

Ive got dippy cop car brakes on my 65 Coronet.

Pretty straight forward bolt on, had some problems getting a good brake hoes to work. I am sur ethere are better alternatives, but I finally decided on the diplomat hoses. they end up with a slight bend to them but they fit the stock 65 frame mount.

The spindles are slightly taller, (3/8") so it does change your steering/suspension geometry some. Some feel its a better change, some feel is worse, some feel it doesnt change anything.

My car doesnt even have a sway bar, so it didnt bother me.

I used to care but....... things have changed
