hey guys, i just picked up this 68 valiant. All the work so far,the previous owner had done. i purchased the car as a rolling project. he was intending to install a detuned nascar engine to run dragweek. i found the car after he sold the cup motor. i have a few pictures that i will post, and will try and continue to keep it updated with pictures.

I like it! The 68 Valiants are just about the best looking of all years. Congrats on the purchase!

Sister had a 2 dr years back that was a really clean low mileage car. Dad found it for her and I was mad at him for not giving me 1st shot at it. She drove it year round and after 2 years it was rusted badly. Torsion bar mount gave up and that was the end of that one.

Still hope to find a solid example one of these days.

I've always liked the 67-69's, but I like the looks of the '67 grille best. My buddy had a 67 with a 340, and my buddy and I built a 69 with a 440 back in the early 80's. It was pretty quick, even with the mild combination we threw at it.

Lol. Update just picked up an alaluminum low deck block for this thing.dang I thought the 517 I was piecing together was expensive. Now it'll be an all aluminum 540 low deck. Fun fun. I just might be able to run closer to the chassis cert
