What tube size ones did you buy?

ROAD TRIP!!! Go visit the magic kingdom and go a bit further south to Corona. It's not a bad drive once you get out of Anaheim.

I’m listening.

I've used both Dougs and TTI and documented the difference. These are 440 with 2" pipes -

TTI

Dougs

TTI

Dougs

TTI dings the tube for plug clearance, Dougs does not, but it's a tight fit without the ding

My old CPPAs were one of the first sets they made. They are crusty now but still solid. My 6 cyl is a royal pain to change in my 65 440 B body.4 isnt real easy either.I run 2 inch tubes think smaller would be easier.Rocky

The full length 1-3/4". They are a little small, but I have a stock stroke 400 and it's a street car with a full exhaust (Pypes 2-1/2" X pipe). I looked online and found calculators that recommended anything from 1-5/8" to 2-3/8" eek for the primary tubes. If I have a 500" motor I'd want bigger but since Andy F made 550 Hp with a 470 and cast manifolds, I don't think I'm giving up much.

I bought my 2" TTI's from Mancini in 2011 and paid around $671 dollars. I bought them just as they come in the nickle coating as I did not get any extra coating which can run the price up close to $1000 if you get all the coating. Mine are holding up fine for me just the way I bought them. Ron

I would recommend the TTI's, I bought them from Rob's Rod Shop. I got 10% off for the Carlisle Chrysler Show. They shipped directly from TTI. I went with the 1 7/8 in my 69 RR. They fit great but I wasn't to happy with the polish ceramic coating. That burned off on some tubes after a couple hours. I don't think the coating is that great. I also used studs on them.
