My service engine light came on when driving the 10.5 hr drive to Carlisle for the car show. Still seems to run fine but made me alittle nervious being this far away from home. Turned the key off and on three times and pulled up a p0404 code. I guess it has something to do with egr valve. Do you guys think it'll be fine till I get home or should I go have it changed out.

It should be fine for the drive. I had to replace the EGR valve on my '05, it was pretty simple and only about $40. I believe it was the same code.

Should be ok to drive. EGR position sensor code. Doesn't mean the egr isn't working, PCM just doesn't know if it is. Shame on you for not taking your brother!
