Definitely will!

I'll get one of the first SST E-body to T56 Mag lower cross-members, we'll see how that works out.

Good luck, member keepat on protouring.com has a sweet 68 Charger build going and his fab skills are AMAZING. He shows an ingenious way to mod the trans tunnel for a T56. If I would have seen it before I did mine, I would have copied it to the T.

I'll have to check his out. Mine is very likely to get some pieces drawn up and lasercut/plasma cut for the upper crossmember. As long as all goes well, those files/templates will be available.

Others may already know this, but What motor, which rear end? Is this a Viper, ford, GM ,or Ls spec magnum? And what bellhousing/ clutch combo are you using to make this all fit together? Nice solution buy the way. up

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Basic remanufactured 5.7L Hemi +Cam, +Headers, Standalone ECU [will likely see a few psi from a Supercharger down the road]
GM Spec Close Ratio magnum trans, 2.66 1st, 0.63 6th
Quicktime 5.7/6.1 Hemi/Small Block to GM T56 Magnum SFI Bellhousing [RM8074]
10.75" Clutch

For fuel it's looking like I'll use a Gen5 Camaro fuel pump and PWM control it. I haven't determined if I'm going to get a Tanks inc tank and modify it, or start with a stock tank and modify it. That's yet to be determined.

The package is being put together by SST with everything from the bell housing, pedals, pistol grip back to the driveshaft. I think it'll save me a lot of heartache going this route.

One major difference between mine and his is going to be the torsion bar crossmember in my car is still being used. His coil-overs took a huge load off that crossmember that mine will still have.

I have some pics of my t bar crossmember build somewhere. I have since implemented the reverse lock out solenoid and that meant making room in my tunnel next to the shifter. Thought I could do without it but can't, shifting to 5th at 100+mph with no worries of nicking reverse is a definite plus.

I've been pondering this and need to just go ahead and plan for the reverse lockout solenoid on mine as well. Are you wiring yours into the brake switch circuit?

As of last night up Trans will end up being here on Friday.

I just wired it to a push button. Didn't want it engaging at every stop or every push of the clutch pedal.

When power is not applied, is it blocking reverse?

Road speed input would be ideal, I'll keep that in mind since I might have a little arduino onboard for various functions.

Now for the fun part. I have some designs I'm working through for the upper crossmember, I'll need some time to get to the laser cutter though.
