Stu, whats wrong with the headers you have? If they are just beat up have them re coated. Hi Herb I am debating on just recoating them vs buying new as they are getting a little beat up after 15 years. Its $265 to have them re-coated in shiny ceramic but i just checked the TTI website and new ones are.......$950! That seems insane! So that may be out of the question as i had no idea that were that much!

Yup: Then try paying a few hun to have them shipped to Canada. For me though it was worth it, the Hookers they replaced just didn't cut it.

The best deal is probably Bill @ Chicago Connection because he ships free. It will come direct from TTI so in your case not as much of a saving. I bought direct from TTI this week through my friend's business and saved a bunch even with the shipping to the East Coast. Ron Man the price that TTI wants is crazy!! Almost $1000!! Yikes!!

The turnaround is pretty quick and their coating is beyond reproach. Not sure about used headers but I think they can handle it.

I redid my TTI headers for my gtx a couple of years ago at a place in San Carlos. Dont recall the name at the moment, but they are off Old County Road and did a great job.

Worth every penny, you can have them made out of stainless steel for only $1800.

Back in the early 2000's, when I was putting my dart together, I purchased my entire TTI exhaust (headers to tailpipes) from John Cambridge @ Baxter dodge (he was the parts mgr). Back then, he was the man to get the best deal from. Not sure if that is still the case.

I will be in the market for some good headers for a 400 storked motor with Edelbrock EZ heads. Be following what the majority says.

I just bought a set a couple of weeks ago. They fit a B engine A body perfectly- I wasted my $$ trying to make B engine headers work. The nickle chrome ones look nice and save about $200. I'm not worried about blueing- two reasons, 1- it's been dyno'd so the tune should be pretty close and 2- I like the bluing look. As far as the cost, they are well built and if there was that much margin someone else would be knocking them off. I've learned my lesson no more cheap headers. What tube size ones did you buy?

ROAD TRIP!!! Go visit the magic kingdom and go a bit further south to Corona. It's not a bad drive once you get out of Anaheim.
I’m listening.

I've used both Dougs and TTI and documented the difference. These are 440 with 2" pipes - TTI Dougs TTI Dougs TTI dings the tube for plug clearance, Dougs does not, but it's a tight fit without the ding

My old CPPAs were one of the first sets they made. They are crusty now but still solid. My 6 cyl is a royal pain to change in my 65 440 B body.4 isnt real easy either.I run 2 inch tubes think smaller would be easier.Rocky

The full length 1-3/4". They are a little small, but I have a stock stroke 400 and it's a street car with a full exhaust (Pypes 2-1/2" X pipe). I looked online and found calculators that recommended anything from 1-5/8" to 2-3/8" for the primary tubes. If I have a 500" motor I'd want bigger but since Andy F made 550 Hp with a 470 and cast manifolds, I don't think I'm giving up much.

I would recommend the TTI's, I bought them from Rob's Rod Shop. I got 10% off for the Carlisle Chrysler Show. They shipped directly from TTI. I went with the 1 7/8 in my 69 RR. They fit great but I wasn't to happy with the polish ceramic coating. That burned off on some tubes after a couple hours. I don't think the coating is that great. I also used studs on them.
