This is a pic of an original 70-71 A-body Brake Prop Valve bolt head (It holds the proportioning valve to the inner fender).Nearly the same exact bolt style and length is also used for retaining brake line clamps to the undercarriage in various applications but the head stamping varies slightly as well as the head markings (likely same bolt, two vendors). Anyone know a source for these? Most are clear zinc plated but some I've seen were dark phosphate. Bolt is resting in a spare part for the 1st pic, ignore the background.

Here is what the fuel line head marking looks like, both have serration teeth on the flat side of the molded in washer.

Yes John, that's the style. You wouldn't happen to know what head markings those have would you?

Sorry, no. I use a lot of Auveco fasteners and the head marking don't seem to be real consistent.

The only fastener catalog I have that shows actual head markings is the AMK and they don't show a bolt like that.

I only need one. I could also use a prop valve (71 Abode manual KH disc brakes dated Aug/Sept 70) but that's probably a tougher score grin

I have some of these original bolts for fuel/brake lines. think its the same style of bolt to the valves mention above.. atleast on the cars i have seen. I have the bolts with maby 3-4 different headmarkings.

Thanks
Nicklas

Thanks guys, I found one on a pats car so I'm good for what I need. On the other hand, it would be good to know if there is a source for these for others, I'm guessing "not", but if anyone finds one let me know.

Thanks! beer
