a relative of mine owns a 2012 Chrysler 200 and I noticed while riding with her it jerks it also will occasionally make a big BOOMP noise as well. its feeling like its when it changes gears ( its an automatic )
I thought ... torque converter???
I googled it and came up with this
http://www.carcomplaints.com/Chrysler/200/2012/transmission/transmission_jerks_when_driving.shtmlhas anyone else had this issue and how did they repair it.
she is taking a long 600 plus mile trip to see her great grand baby soon. I advised for her to not take it until its repaired to rent a car to be safe.
I hate to take it to a shop KA CHING!!
and more Ka CHING
My tools got left behind when I moved. plus I have no place to work on anything at the moment.
I see it mentions to maybe
replace camshaft sensor
how big of a task is this?
I don't have a lot of time I work a lot of hours
but if its not a biggie I may be able to do it for her so they don't over charge her like most places do
and NO before anyone asks its not running any codes as of yet
