Where on the passenger side rear 1/4 panel is the radio antenna located on an AAR Cuda?
Was this always a dealer thing or was it factory on all AAR's?

I need a good clear picture showing the location please.

Here is a picture. I don't know it's history. I probably grabbed it off this site.

If Your AAR cuda have R11(Radio AM ) on the fender tag ,there is faktory monted antenna. Not original deler monted.
A 53 on fender tag ,is incl radio ,or the radio is deleted, that is a rare AAR cuda.

antenae was factory installed if the car came with a radio. not sure if AAR and TA will measure out the same. The idea is to have it far enough forward that the spoiler doesn't hit it when the trunk is open.

Not to hijack the post but how would one drill the antenna hole? The 3/16 pilot holes would be no problem but what tool to use to drill or make the 1 11/32 hole?

U kidding me? This on a 69 Dart fender that has a somewhat concave surface. That'll be ok on a fender before paint. I could see the paint chips flyin all over the place. I'm talkin on a fender that has paint on it like the one in my sig.

Usually when you have to saw or cut a painted fender you tape off the entire area with the blue masking tape and then drill through that. It minimizes the paint coming off and flaking.

Well that was silly....You should have drilled the hole BEFORE paint
If I were in your shoes.....I'd cover the location in duct tape...Mark the hole where you want it.
TIP: Check the hole size of the actual bezel and don't rely on the gasket.
Then I would start with a small 1" hole saw...then finish up with a die grinder CAREFULLY Slowly taking your time so that you don't heat up the surronding paint too much

Why not use a knockout punch?

Or you could scribe a circle with a compass and chain drill it, then use a rotary file to finish.
