I finally found some front 28" tires I like at a great price but the MPH rating is S 112 ..... how strict is that as I already did 124+ mph with my old setup... thx

Is this a race only or a street car? My favorite is Goodyear 4.5x28.0, close second is the Hoosier
4.5x28.0 These are good for "Race only" they are 2 ply lightweight race tires..I have been over 150 with both..On the street they would be worn out in a month plus long drives would probably trash them too..For "Street/Strip" I would say the M/T 4.5x28.0 Sportsman 4ply tires would serve you well..Deep tread, more suited for street..One downfall is they are much heavier...poppaj

They are the Goodyear "Eagle" front runners, 4.5x28.0 They are on my blue car in pic above.
They only weigh around 3.5 lbs. They are pricey as well around $175 each..
