Just want some ideas and opinions. I want to get back to racing, kinda street strip, and I have 3 engines to chose from. One is my 383 from the early 80s,no heads for now, but ran 11.60s at that time in a Duster, next is a 360-380 built by me ready to go,but these heads have cracking issues I now know, next is a 5.7 stock engine. The 383 and 5.7 would need money for parts but the 360 is ready to run with the good roller rocker kit and cam. Where would the money and potential be best spent? Remember I want a street strip car but no dog. Thanks.

Throw the LA in it and have fun.
The 5.7 would be my preferred choice but it's an expensive proposition to get one to fit in an A body.
