Does the column need to come completely apart to replace the turn signal lever?

How about the ignition key cylinder?

Thanks.

The turn signal lever requires removing the crush can only. Picture below.
The key cylinder requires removing the next collar or the turn signal lever housing.
To have access to the key cylinder you will have to remove the lock wheel and then
the plate that hides the access hole to remove the cylinder itself. Next

Hi
How to mount steering column in 70 Challenger?

I did it using two pin bolts to dash/pedal frame, and using three bolts to firewall.

But I have also three white rectangular plastic shims, where do these go?
any pictures would be great

There are no white plastic shims on an e body column.
They are used in b body applications.

Not trying to rob the post. Is this the same as the '71 B-Body, without tilt? Where can one get the ignition switch and any other parts?
