The CHinese seem to be able to stamp whatever they want on whatever they feel like. I too would chuck those bolts in the garbage.

Grade 8 in your application is probably overkill and a waste of money. Before spending money on good bolts you should research the strengths of the various bolts and determine your needs. In this application a grade 2 bolt will probably do just fine! Don't like that, then step up to a grade 5. Grade 8 ???? Unnecessary.

A prime example here is a cross-pinning bolt that holds the blade to the shaft in a bushog mower. It would seem logical to use a strong bolt, but reality is that you want a weaker bolt that will act as a fuse if the blade hits soemthing sturdy. Better to replace a bolt than a blade...

Parts I seek: driver doorpanel, 65 Sport Fury, prefer black, needs to be 7-8 on 10 scale, might buy set 16" x 6" Dodge truck wheel(s), from early 70s?, takes 9" dogdish - need for a research job so cheaper is better. 69-73 C-body caliper brackets and/or splashields Send a PM.

I am going to start getting rid of and replacing what I have.
