I know that those 2 don't generally support each other but I drive my cars a lot so I like to get good wear but I hammer them a fair amount to so I want them to bite. I actually have had good luck with Cooper Cobras but was wondering it there was a drag radial style tire that I wouldn't have to replace every year.

What diameter?

15" sizes tend to be either S/T rated, long mileage hockey pucks or super soft drag race tires. Although the MT SR may be the best(only?) intermediate step between those two worlds. MT claims 15k worth of mileage, so you might get 2-3 years out of them.

17"+ diameters tend to have more options.

Nitto drag radials look like they will last 10k at least on my 400hp 4,400 stall demon.

Nitto NT555 they have 15" sizes available up to 275/60/15, nice sticky tire (blackwall only), other than that your choices are limited by size, Mickey Thompson's, and BF Goodrich Radial T/A's as a last resort....there's nothing available in the GoodYear camp
