Getting ready to order a new 1350 yoke for the dana 60, I see there is the straps or the u-bolt type available. what's the best one to get?


it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

I ran the straps for years with my 8 3/4... I have the
U-bolts on the 9"
wave

I would say looking at the fastner size and design that the "U" would be the stronger of the two. I think the only time the little strap bolts would fail, is if you had a catastrophic failure elsewhere in the driveline.
