ok, next question....are they wheel specific? Will they fit either 14's or 15's? I have 15's on my 71 Plymouth and the wheels are different. It seems that it would take two different sizes. One of my wheels is like 8 inches across where the dog dish would go and the others are like 10 or so.

The bad thing about the 10" caps is they only fit '67 and earlier 4.5" bolt pattern wheels and if you want a 15" wheel, they are almost impossible to find.

Epoxy late cap inside early ones:

Yes, the wheels are different. The earlier ones used larger caps. A-bodies started the trend toward the smaller ones and the rest of the cars followed. There aren't many choices for early 15" ones, mostly narrow widths. They came on early c-bodies with disc brakes and I find them on early A100 vans. Also came on some 1/2 ton pickups. Problem is most early trucks and vans don't have their original wheels anymore because people changed them to later ones or mags.

There is even a 16" version of the early wheel but they are very hard to find. I have them on my teardrop trailer. Took me 4 years to find a pair.
