DRAM_Perf_Only (aka Dan) is a good guy to deal with as well.

Hmm, well Mancini racing, which is in Frazer, MI (like a mile from you ) sells them at good prices. If you're looking for a engine builder thats reliable and sells them then check out Chuck @Best Machine in Farmington, MI.

Both are sponsors of this site and can be found in the Moparts Sponsors link at the top of the page

whats the performance goal? use of the motor?

for a street/strip car, under 1,000 hp a 440source kit would work fine for you. just make sure to follow their assembly instructions on the bearings. I have 3,000 miles on mine and their parts have not been my "weak links"

if you're after a serious drag motor, then their stuff might not be for you, and you might want to step up to something from Chuck or Bob. I've seen Bob's shop and what they can do. it's impressive. he definitly knows more about engines than I ever will. If I didn't get such a sense of accomplishment and that "feel good feeling" when I put my own motor together, I'd be tempted to let them build my next mill, just for the peace of mind of knowing that he's going to check everything that I don't know to check myself.

but then again, I'll never be making more than 600-650 hp, which is a fairly mild build on a stroked 440, so most parts work well together at that level.

Mike at Muscle Motors is yet another option. But you are probably asking about Brandon at 440Source.
