Saw a few cars today at a friends place. They were stored inside but the grage doors are open almost every day all day. Anyway the cars have new repop seat covers but they have little while spots on them half the size of a penny.
Guess it is mold/mildew?
One car 3rd one Mine even had the same stuff {very litttle} on it in side! And the same stuff on one smaller part of the vinyl it after the car cover was removed.
It looks to clean off with just rubbing with ya hands but is still there.
What would be the safest thing to use to clean vinyl seats and get a fresh smell
I don't think mine smells
But might still stick something inside it to get it smelling nice anyway
In the past I shot some new car smell a temp thing just for laffs since guys would say wow it still smells new!
What is best to get any car fresh smelling again for the long term?
He has 3 nice restored cars and they all look like this from sitting.

Fresh dry air. All you can do is keep it clean. As far as storage you need to get better venting and air moving. May have to get vent fans installed. If there is moisture on the floor its to damp and wet. Again moving air around may dry it out.

After looking at it again my car has no smell. and the white spots look like the stuff we put on the seats dried up. it was a real creamy white stuff from a guy tha sells to car dealers/body shops and detail shops.
Thinking it just dried out and left a residue?
It wipes right off say 80% worth.
I realy do not want to use anything strong like mopar total clean ect. on the seats to get the rest off.
Windex?
Don't realy think it is mildew/mold since the polished aluim is still realy nice in the engine bay

I would not use Windex. It's for glass. There's other mult-purpose cleaners that will be better for the vinyl. I would apply some 409 or equal and scrub with a toothbrush and then wipe off with a damp cloth. Should do it. I also like to use lemon pledge om the dash and door panels and it smeels good too...just a suggestion.

Try hot water on a clean white towel first and rub softly. That does wonders on many things without worry of wrecking anything.
