I talked to YO today about a heater core for the above mentioned car and he said his reproduction heater core was made out of brass. He said he got it from Old Air Products. I looked on their website and it looked just like the one I bought from Classic Auto Air. It was copper tubes with aluminum fins. It fit fine and I have yet to fire up my car. Anyone get one from YO yet?

They're hit or miss. I bought one from o'reilleys (sp)went to install it amd they wouldn't go through the firewall. Pay the extra and buy one from year one. Fits just fine. ......at the end of the day, they were the exact same brand/re manufacturer of the part. I just didn't want to bend real hard and break the o'reilleys one so for year ones version. Hopefully that makes sense.

I had brought in my broken original and he (radiator shop owner)said I was better off $?wise just ordering a "new" one.
