Thanks guys! Looking forward to turning the boost up and see if I cant get it into the 8.50's. So far I am so impressed with it!
Not sure on color. Most who have looked at it say it would look awesome in satin black. I dunno

Well I am 90 percent there. Working the bugs out. It is unreal!!! Faster than my alcohol 9.40 motor on the pump and water/meth with only 7lb of boost.

Need to get painted once the bugs are all worked out. I have put almost 100 miles on it. Rides smooth! Need to put the mesh grill in and do the body work.

I am thinking DP50 satin black. Thoughts?

The satin look would be very cool....PPG makes a single stage industrial paint that is sweet and much better than the DP50 as far as UV is concerned

look how far it is away from the cylinder head.normal distance.

Mine were same distance... I had two bungs, one for my ecu and a second for LM1. Never had a problem.

I have mine close to the turbo flange I know they say not to but its been there for over 2 years with alot of passes with c16 and still working fine.

Made it to the track finally after driving it around and tuning on street. So far have put 600 miles on motor and REALLY Happy with the results!!

Setup was very conservative. I knew going I could had to much gear 4.88 so on REV limiter at 1000ft and had to lift.

So:
14lbs boost
19 degrees timing at 14lbs
shift at 6600
AFR PERFECT 11.5
Converter ONLY dropping 100rpms on shift! To loose!!
ON REV LIMITER AT 1000ft 7400rpm. Lifting at 1000 and drifting through

60ft 1.33
1/8 5.83
mph 120.1
1000ft 7.60
lifting at 1000ft 9.139 144.58 mph

Solid 8 second street car! Changing gears this winter and tighten the converter up a small bit.

Less stall, and you may have troubles getting the turbos to spool. The converter is propably the most difficult thing in the turbo cars to get right, we had a pretty good luck with it. The first version was against the limiter all the way, but spooled very quickly and still run well (8.13). Then after tightening the rpm drops from 7100 shift point to 6200, but it now takes about a second+ to get the boost up enough for a decent leave. First since you have no boost, there is no torque, and the converter should slip, then with boost the tq doubles and the converter should hold, it's a difficult task. I would also say that you are very cautious with your spark advance, we have almost 10 degrees more with 14 psi. Of course too little is propably better than too much though.
