I have a couple of questions on the fender tag of my 68 roadrunner. First under the letter Z of the second line, there is the number 8 (could also be a B). I believe that calls for Performance Hood treatment. Is the Performance Hood treatment the blacked out center of the hood that was fairly common on the 68"s? The second question is a character that is below the ABC of the second line, that looks like a capital L that has been flipped on its side with the base of the L now vertical below the A, and the long side of the L now horizontal below the ABC. Any idea what that is supposed to call out? Thanks in advance!

1) Yes.
2) Typical inspection stamp from the Lynch Road plant. RM2**8A.
This one just happens to use the letter N where yours is an L on it's side.
